Sixty parishioners sat down to our Spanish Night on Friday 6th June – the latest in a series of gourmet evenings in aid of the Organ Fund.   Father Jim Crampsey was the principal chef, and served up gazpacho to start with (very welcome at the end of the warmest day we’d seen for ages) followed by a selection of different paella dishes.   Regina Latonda provided a wonderful selection of tapas – including some delicious tortilla – and for pudding, fresh cherries in Douro were served with yoghurt.

Regina went on to entertain us with a performance of Spanish dancing, complete with castanets!

The evening raised £530 for the Organ Fund.

Plans are already afoot for a Polish Night in late August – watch this space!
