A Night Out in Karachi

At the end of the their retreat, the Daughters of the Heart of Mary took me for a night out in Karachi!  First we made a visit to the must-see spot in Karachi, the tomb of Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, which is set in a beautiful park.

Then we visited St Patrick’s Cathedral, built by the Jesuits in 1878.  The Jesuits staffed this Cathedral for seventy years.

Then we went to the shops.

And then headed to Clifton, the posh part of Karachi, by the sea, where we found a restaurant where we could sit outside in the cool sea breeze.

And we had a delicious meal of Chicken Karahi.
