Br Guy Consolmagno SJ

(Director of the Vatican Observatory)

‘Adventures of a Vatican Astronomer’

Thursday 19th July, 7.30pm

Br. Guy is a Jesuit brother & planetary scientist at the Vatican Observatory. Thanks to his Vatican connections, his work has sent him around the world to every continent including a meteorite expedition in Antarctica. In his talk he will share some of those adventures and reflect on the larger meaning of our common experience as scientists. Not only what we do, but why we do it.
